Mission Statement
When a need presents itself, the Good Samaritans of Our Lady Star of the Sea Parish are available to provide assistance to the individuals who, because of their unique situation, desire additional services/support beyond what their network of family and friends can provide.
You do not have to be a member of Our Lady Star of the Sea Parish in order to receive the services of the Good Samaritans.

Services

Rides : Sunday Mass, appointments, shopping, errands - we are unable to transport clients who are wheelchair bound, but we can accommodate those with walkers

Respite : Volunteers will stay with a homebound person for 1-2 hours while the primary caregiver takes a break, runs errands, etc.

Friendly Visits : hospitals, nursing homes, your home

Is there a fee for the Good Samaritan services?
There is no fee for the Good Samaritan services, we are strictly a volunteer group who desires to live the gospel of Jesus Christ.

No, we provide one service on a given day.
